Over the past two weeks, we’ve rolled out a series of upgrades on the kobopay website and app to bring our users an even better experience. Some of these changes are in response to community-based feedback while others are a part of our mission to make financial services as accessible and convenient as possible.
The upgrades we’ve implemented are as follows:
Landing page transactions:
With our quick payment options, users can now initiate payments without logging into their kobopay accounts. Users can pay for utilities, air time, data, fund betting accounts, and purchase lottery tickets.
Hidden wallet balance:
For increased privacy, wallet balances are automatically hidden on user homepages both in-app and on the web. This is to ensure privacy from wandering eyes in public and private spaces.
Split Vault:
For clarity, the vault has been split into two sub-sections “savings” and “investments”. This allows users to better track their finances giving them a better idea of how they interact with money
Extra security measures:
There are even more options when it comes to safeguarding your account. Users can now sign in using one of three options: fingerprint, password, and pin
New service providers:
A new payment category “Bet and Lotto” has been added. Users can now fund their accounts with over 10 Bet and Lotto platforms including Zoom lifestyle, Bet king, Mlotto, Betway, and more. You can also pay for Showmax subscriptions with other TV subscriptions. Now you don’t have to miss your favorite games or shows no matter where you are.
Kolo:
Introducing our brand new feature that helps you save while you spend!
This default cash-back feature is designed to help you save. For every complete transaction, you’ll receive a percentage in your Kolo as cash that can be withdrawn biannually
